Job Title: Compliance Manager
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct internal audit at all facilities to ensure adherence including, but not limited to, the following:
- Company policies and procedures
- Safety and Risk policies
- OSHA compliance
- DOT compliance
- Local, state and federal environmental compliance - Analyze weekly hours for employees to ensure:
- DOT hours of service compliance
- Employee hours of service compliance - Develop audit reports which document the audit activities and define action items identified during the audit process
- Analyze loss data to identify adverse trends and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Provide training support, with company Safety Trainers, for regulatory matters.
- Report critical compliance issues immediately to senior management
- Work closely with sites to implement a plan to resolve actions items and track results. Re-inspect when items are completed.
- Support, develop and implement standards, as needed.
- Provide advice and guidance to facilities regarding compliance issues.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety (or related field)
- CSP, OHST or similar designation
- Knowledge of transportation Five (5) years Risk Engineering, Loss Prevention or Safety experience
