CORPORATE RISK MANAGEMENT INTERN
General Summary:
Advanced Disposal seeks an intern to assist the Corporate Risk Management department in day-to-day activities. The internship will provide the intern with valuable, real-world experience. Requirements:
Interns must be actively enrolled in a university management, risk management, insurance or business program and have a minimum of junior standing. The ideal candidate is an organized, motivated, multi-tasking team player with an interest in Insurance or Risk Management. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required. Interns will work 20 hours per week in an office environment.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
Maintain Claims Litigation database
Assist in requesting materials for claims related discovery requests
Assist with data analysis
Monitor background check submission/results
Assist the Vice President and/or Corporate Claims Manager with special projects
Conduct research on key issues and other topics as needed
Assist with administrative duties including fax processing, stuffing envelopes and other administration functions as assigned
Perform miscellaneous office duties as needed

Reports to the Vice President of Risk Management
