Advanced Disposal is honored to partner with Cell Phones for Soldiers, in an on-going effort to encourage people to donate their old cell phones. The proceeds from the recycled cell phones will provide soldiers serving overseas with prepaid calling cards to communicate with their families back home.

During the week of Nov. 09, 2009, Advanced Disposal will be placing the cell phones for soldiers donation bag inside the recycling containers of customers in hopes of garnering cell phone donations in honor of Veteran’s Day. Each cell phone that is donated provides a soldier overseas with 30 minutes of prepaid calling service so that they may phone their families back home.

In addition to the envelopes being placed in customer’s recycling containers, Advanced Disposal will be coordinating inner-office drop boxes at all Advanced Disposal locations We will also be working with various businesses and organizations  to provide them with envelopes and drop boxes for their offices and employees if they wish to get involved.
